Matthew R. Mejia
Matthew Mejia is a former college athlete who extends the spirit of competition to the various litigated matters that he handles. Matt’s practice includes various aspects of litigation, including claims for personal injuries, habitation, and construction defect.
Matt has had success in a number of jury trials and was trained as a prosecutor through the office of the Los Angeles City Attorney.
Matt has been with the firm since his graduation from Loyola University School of Law and became a member of the firm (partner) in 2017. He is a tireless advocate with tremendous dedication to his clients.
Examples of matters that Matt has successfully litigated include:
Spencer v. The J. Paul Getty Trust. Successfully moved for summary judgment in a claim for premises liability.
G.T. Dave v. Stock Building Supply. Successfully defended a national supply company in an action asserting claims of product liability and fraud.
Porta D’Italia v. Lennar Homes of California, Inc. Successfully defended a supplier of construction material in a claim for construction defects.
